How lovely it was, to spend 10 minutes drawing without a plan. Just making a line, and see where it goes next. First a boat. Then another. Then a person. Then another. It's a bit skewed. But that doesn't matter. It's not about the outcome. It's all about the fun.

Cityscape – A Rough Reunion
When I've been away from watercolour for a while, I do tend to get a reminder of how difficult I actually find it. This time it came through my first speed painting in months. I wanted to just get the feel of it all again. So I cut out a small piece of paper and…

Patrolling
I imagine this is some kind of patroller. Maybe a ship from the military, keeping an eye on the shoreline. I kind of get a WWII-feeling about the drawing, but it wasn't my intention. Either way it was fun to use my pen doing a new technique, which I find very exciting 🙂
Sunset Sailing
Here is another piece for my new series of marine inspired digital paintings: The style ended up a bit tighter than in my previous efforts, which I'm not really sure how I feel about. What I like, though, is the whole look of the fishing boat. Especially the bow, which I think ended up quite…
