This is a very dark digital painting.
There is a clear focal point in the sailing ship.
But it’s not easy to catch before you look closely.
I like how the darkness sets the mood, though.
How it looks so quiet.
Like the engine and the bow breaking through the water is the only sounds disturbing the silence.
I like how it’s winding itself between the mountains.
And how the boat, alone in the water, looks quite significant in it’s surroundings.
But is it too dark?

I love it a lot. It’s still, but not boring, with the crossing shafts of lighter and darker. It’s heavy, almost.
