A Fragile Forest – Something Whimsical

Nature is being pushed further and further back due to our ever lasting expansion.

What goes out may never again come back.

It’s all so fragile.

Which became the inspiration of this painting.

A fragile forest ever threatened by the expanding city.

It all looks a bit whimsical.

More than I planned.

I mean, why should animals have hats?

But I just got to go with the flow when I have it.

I hope you like it.

And I hope that you’re having a good day!

  1. I really liked the artwork and the video. I am glad I came across your website. Lovely paintings. And since you asked, I am having a good day; hope you are too.

    P. S. I think animals should have hats if they want them. They probably have a better day with hats than without them – except the pigeons in San Francisco whose hats were glued on their little heads. If I were them, I wouldn’t like that a bit.

    1. Thank you so much! I’m very glad you enjoyed it, and that you’re having a good day 🙂
Glued on hats sounds horrible. It should definitely be a choice each individual pigeon would take!

    1. I’m so glad you think so, Laura. I tend to make statements in pretty mild forms. Maybe it’s a weakness, or maybe it reaches a bit further. I don’t know 🙂

      1. It’s true imagination and creativity mixing up there.

You’ve been very kind about my art but for the most part it’s copying existing images with an added twist. There’s more of “you” invested in your artworks like this ☝🏻

      2. That’s very nice of you to say, Steve. I really appreciate that. It’s funny, because I simply can’t manage to copy an existing image no matter how much I try. I’m not good at proportions, color mixing, techniques and what not. That’s why I’ve just gone with the flow, doing what works for me 🙂

  2. I’m having a good day, and I hope you are too.
The cities have expanded so far, that even animals slowly started wearing hats, too.
A beautiful picture. I like that it is somewhat whimsical, yet no less important.

    1. Thank you so much, Sam! And what a great take regarding the hat. It’s another step towards being forcefully integrated in our world. I’ll use that as the reason for sure! 🙂

I would love it if you left me a few words
