Working Around The Colours

To spice it up a bit, I decided to do a couple of those hill drawings using watercolour.

So far Iโ€™ve done the ink drawings first, adding the watercolour as the last touch.

Now, however, I wanted to do it the other way around.

I can see now that I should have taken photos before and after the ink.

To give a clear view of the process.

Unfortunately that idea crossed my mind too late.

But it was great fun, and an opportunity to test my creativity.

I did quite a few pieces, the one at the top being my favourite.

None of them ended up great, however.

But that was not the intention.

Itโ€™s nice to work without all the self conflicted pressure once in a while.

And to feel some fresh air in the process.

  1. Fun idea! I liked them, but I think I lked when you highlighted a few buildings (or trees, people etc) with colours even better๐Ÿ˜Š
