I wrote in my last post about how much fun I had painting a ship.
One of those old ships, that looks like they’ve been sailing for years on end.
Well, there was no doubt in my mind that I need to paint another one.
And I needed to do it straight away.
This version is a bit brighter than the first one, but I wanted to keep that nice combination of blue and orange.
I also wanted to keep the impressions of decoration on the ship, and the view of it from the shore.
When it comes to new features I wanted to add a few crashing waves as well.
To get a bit more movement and energy to the scene.
And a few fellows sitting there together on the rocks.
I honestly don’t know what they’re doing.
But it seems like they’re having a good time.
I’m also quite pleased with how the birds on the fence posts ended up looking.
So, all in all, another fun session.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if it pops up a few more ships in the time coming.
And, if you want to see how it got made, you can do so in this short time-lapse video:

I hope you are doing alright, and that you’re having a good day!
Love the waves.
Thank you, Laura! They are a bit more energetic this time 🙂
