Raw Mountain – Letting the Ink Work

This is, in my opinion, my best ink painting yet.

Simply because of the way the distant mountain looks against the grey sky.

Very untouched, both by brushes and in perception.

I also like how the trees turned out.

The cabins and the foreground could be better.

But who cares, I’m going to focus on the positives.

Along with the painting I showed off in my last post, this is part of a series of three pieces.

The third one got so grey and boring that I didn’t bother keeping it.

But that’s learning, so no hard feelings about that.

I’ll keep doing these simultaneous sessions, though.

And, hopefully, I’ll be able to show off a lot more ink work very soon.

So, in the meantime, I’ll wish you a great day!
