After Summer

I’ve always associated autumn with death and increasingly darker days.

It sounds a bit dramatic, but it’s not meant that way.

The last few years, though, I’ve slowly changed my mind about autumn.

It’s not that bad.

It’s just the natural part of our cyclus.

What was green becomes red, and turns into rot.

Leaving space and nutrition for new life to erupt.

It’s the consequence of life.

A vital and beautiful process.

Because why should red be any less beautiful than green?
