I’ve been doing a lot of digital painting lately.
Simply because there hasn’t been much time to paint.
And when there’s not much time, digital painting is the far most efficient way to get things done.
But all the paintings are just sitting there on my computer now.
So I thought, why shouldn’t they also get framed?
So I fired up my photo printer, and made a few prints.
The light was not perfect when I took the photos, but this is how they ended up behind glass:
I prefer the frames without the thick mattes. That white space feels like it should be filled. So, if I ever use them, I’ll fill the space with doodles or thumbnail samples of other works, sort of like those Marvel-Comics filler pages in collected works.
Yet another interesting thought 🙂 I do like the idea, making something out of the mattes as well 🙂
They look great, I prefer black frames, I can’t wait to buy some 😀
Thank you so much, Elaine 🙂 Black frames works with everything 😊
