I’ve spent a lot of blue and green paint lately on these watercolour pieces.
At the same time I’ve been really pleased with the paintings where I’ve used more of the yellows and reds.
So why not spend a lot more of those colours in my recent effort?
In this painting I’ve turned the balance around, using the blue paint as mild shadowing for the hill.
The red paint covering the rest of the field gives such a warm feeling, I think.
It makes me want to lay down there and have a rest, even though I imagine it’s quite cold.
Anyway, I hope you like it and that you’re having a nice day!
