How nice to be back with the watercolours again!
After way too much time apart, this is the result of my new first painting:
It’s painted on Winsor & Newton watercolour paper, in postcard format.
I hadn’t really intended to paint on these papers, as they seemed way too small.
But how lovely it was to be able to work small scale, getting to know the medium again.
That also made it possible to finish the painting in just about half an hour, which made the whole threshold of starting a new watercolour session much lower.
So now I’m ready to go again, having lots more fun with this medium.
But first I took the time to put it in a frame, which made the final result look like this:
Have a great day!
Nice one….. I want to try the same
Thank you 🙂 It’s lovely painting themes from the ocean 🙂

Great work and your Aquarelle painting has really grown to something special.
Thank you!😊 I’m so glad you think so. I’m happy with how they’ve turned out lately 😊
Such a lovely picture. Did you use gouache for the waves?
Greetings Moony
Thank you so much😊 Yes, it is gouache. I keep it simple with the whites 😊
