I got this idea about doing a sketch/painting of a farm with some worn out field in front of it.
I wasn’t all clear to me how I wanted it to look, so I did a sketch in my sketchbook to try and work it out:

I decided that this was an okay base to start out from, so I set to work doing some pencil outlines on my watercolour paper.
After that I added the pen strokes, and a finishing layer of watercolour.
In the end it turned out like this:

I think the barn ended up a bit under par.
Especially the main roof got a bit too dark, and looks too messy.
The small field in front of it I’m very pleased with, though.
Anyway, I hope you are all staying healthy 🙂
I love it! That was a cool video. You add just the right amount of color to make your drawings/painting interesting. 😊
Thank you 😊 I’m a bit unhappy with the roof of the barn, bit it was fun 😊
Really? I couldn’t find anything wrong at all. 😉
Pawsome! I could roll down & run back up that hill 🐾💜🐾
Sounds like you’ve done that before. I sure have! as a kid, of course. Couldn’t do it know if someone paid me!
Certainly!😃 That would be a great way to spend the day 😊
Very nice sketch/painting, and it was so good of your to share your workspace and process with us. I love seeing other artists’ supplies and studio setup.
Thanks ☺ I’m glad you think so. It’s a pretty basic setup, but I try to keep it simple ☺
