I’ve missed doing some old, messy paintings using a palette knife.
As it is a bit messy, though, it’s harder to put into the schedule.
So it’s been a while since my last acrylic painting.
Not anymore, though.
This is my first acrylic painting in about four months:

To be hones I just wanted to do something similar to my previous paintings, to get back into it.
So I painted a northern sundown.
It was fun, and I really enjoyed making some mess again.
The canvas is 20 x 20 cm, so it didn’t take that long finishing it.
I have a few more of them laying around, so I’ll definitely be posting a few more 🙂
This is so fantastic. I can almost smell the salty air! xD
Thank you! It was my hope to be able to catch that, so I’m very glad if it gave you that effect 🙂
Looks great, just bought my first acrylics and enjoying it so far – fairly different from the watercolours that’s for sure.
Definitely!☺ The drying time is so short compared to oils as well. You’ve done some great acrylic pieces ☺
Ha ha, thanks. The whole collection of two 😁
Let’s hope I can keep it up if you like them 🤞🏻
I bet you can 🙂 I’ve yet to not like the stuff you make 🙂
It’s great to mix it up a bit! Looks great!
Thank you ☺ It was very fun ☺
❤️❤️❤️ it
Thank you, Elaine ☺ It was very fun making it ☺
