An ink bouquet

This is my first attempt drawing flowers up close, which ended up as a bouquet.

I just felt in the mood for drawing some petals and flower heads, and started a doodle at the livingroom table.

It was so relaxing watching the bouquet grow larger, just letting the hand work freely.

Now I’m unsure about the whole colouring process.

Initially I was planning to just splash some watercolour on it, but now I wonder if markers would do a better job.

Or maybe I should use watercolour to paint it more maticulously.

I guess I’ll just have to see. Right now I can’t decide 🙂
